Major Dorfman is a writer and director from a small mill town in Massachusetts. He has an MFA in Directing from Columbia University's School of the Arts. 

Major's films are often about good people who are forced to do bad things. His film Fourth of July won a Special Mention for Best US Student Short at the 2021 Palm Springs International ShortFest. 

He lives in Brooklyn, NY, loves Raisin Bran Crunch, and has a dog named Ron.
